capitalism sucks man. i hate advertising my stuff. i hate that there are ads on my twitch. i fully understand if no one wants to deal with that. it just sucks that my income has to be based on annoying people when rly all i want is to entertain and be creative and make smth meaningful

and this is not a post guilt tripping people who don't do things my way, i 100% respect not wanting to be sold anything, period. but i was thinking about it today as i watched a video from a creator i enjoy, and it's just. such a shame we have to keep putting out what everyone hates 😭😭😭

i have a pretty hostile attitude towards advertising. but with small businesses (legitimate ones that don't scam or do slopshit) i always try to show some leniency where i can. sponsor reads are annoying, ads are annoying, but i also know what it's like to not afford rent
