Walked past a stranger in town today who was such an exact doppelgänger for Hilary Mantel that I did a full on cartoonish double take, stopped and looked back. Unsettling stuff. Hopefully she’s haunting me!

Ignoring the TS-dominated stats on my Apple replay which have been misled by the crack that went into TTPD, my actual favourite songwriting of the last year was on Los Campesinos! “All Hell”. So great!

Some red flags here on assisted dying. I can’t trust medical professionals in the NHS to put my migraine medications through on time or submit a referral they’ve said they’ll submit. We may need to go back to basics before getting into all this!

Took Horace to the vet and he worked very hard to find the one potential hiding spot in the mostly empty room. They had to move the computer to get him out.
