Looks like this account compromising phishing scam is still active. Vgen will contact you about verification via *email*, not messenger. Do not scan any QR codes, do not click any links from potentially compromised accounts, look for the staff badge.
A screenshot of a VGen Chat from a user impersonating a staff member on VGen. They have sent OP a message letting them know that there is one last step for manual verification (and have sent a QR code that OP has cropped). OP has also written some handwritten notes on the screenshot outlining that there is: - No VGen staff tag. - The supposed "Verif Manager" has an @ that clearly belongs to an artist. - The artist has also doodled themself with a label that says "Already Verified" and a speech bubble that says "Vgen also notifies you about this via email."
