The sad reality is, the overwhelming majority of Americans don't know there's a voter for the Speaker going on, don't care & won't be able to name him after the vote. This is what happens in a country where civics education is no longer universal. Its absence lets darkness settle in over democracy.

I said this on the show, but something that hasn’t sunk in, I think. We haven’t had a “new” president who is sworn in and is immediately a lame duck in the nation’s entire history. When Grover Cleveland was sworn in a second time we didn’t have the 22nd amendment!

Trump will face the same problem Biden faced with high consumer prices for groceries, etc. Although inflation has already dropped to a low rate, prices can’t drop to pre-Covid levels without deflation, likely leading to a recession. Worse, Trump’s import tax (tariffs) will drive prices even higher.

I’m 100% sure nothing will be done to make grocery prices lower or reduce healthcare costs and in fact these things will get exponentially worse under Donold. He will blame it all on the Democratic party and these ancient morons will let him because they refuse to engage in branding or new media.
