It was a real pleasure to host Daniele Menjivar in my lab as part of CREU program (cancer research experience for undergraduates). It is such a breath of fresh air to be involved in mentoring new generation of scientists, especially in current anti-science environment.

What a sad news. Steve was an outstanding scientist and contributed greatly to midbody and centrosome biology. He was also a great colleague and an accomplished mountaineer. I will miss our scientific discussions and great hikes we did in Colorado.
