I really underestimated how much hatred for immigrants there was in this country. Even when I was a Republican (eons ago) I believed the "we're only against illegal immigration" rhetoric. But they don't even say that anymore. They're openly against non-white and poor immigrants, no sugar-coating.

I agree with this article except on one point, Trump clings to the Reaganite notion that you can *always* grow your way out of a tax rate "cut" and that deficits don't matter. And he embraces some of the deregulatory *rhetoric*. But apart from that he's an 80s protectionist Democrat all the way.

FYI, this unanimous decision doesn’t say that her claim is true or false, it only says that the lower court cannot use a different standard for white or heterosexual people when deciding such cases. The case will resume at the lower court with the uniform standard. #scotus #discrimination #law
