Everything about the current 'debate' around this is dismal, not just morally but because it is so stupid. For example:

It conflates asylum-seeking and illegal immigration (and sometimes with migration generally)

It shows no understanding of why there is AS

Florida grandfather was born inGerman refugee camp after World War II. His family legally emigrated to USA in 1952. He was 5.

7 decades later ICE sent him to Alligator Alcatraz on a decades-old deportation order which authorities had chosen not to enforce.

It's not the best image you are going to see of Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), but I managed to catch it with my DSLR. 30 images stacked. 5 seconds/ISO 800/ F/3.5. A quick set up with the intervalometer, just after sunset. I'm quite pleased to have caught it!

When P+ wrote off #Prodigy I swore I'd never get P+ again. Haven't had active subs since 2023-24 for Halo. Got this price increase msg earlier. Sounds like they think I've a subs. Their online portal offers no acc delete link. You have to get passed AI chatbot to a live person then they

8mins into James Gunn's Superman. Already have a strong dislike. Krypto is a right irritating flea bag. Gunn is linked to injecting humour, I don't find this funny.
I've always thought Gunn is overrated. Only Guardians 2 was any good. The others avg. This will probably be avg.

Another view of that yellow river as it meets the sea - from my first day in #Iceland on 1st Nov.
The ocean meets a black sand beach and behind is a yellow/green river estuary. There is a slight slope downwards from the beach to the river, so the waves coming over the beach are slowly lapping down towards the river.
