It’s August and for the first time in a long time it means no school, no finals in December, no midterms, no projects. I am finally liberated from academia and it feels so fucking good.

Omg having a wisdom tooth removed is such a horrible experience. The extraction itself sucked, but having bone surface to scrape my tongue for three days until I could see the dr again sucked. 2 days passed and another bone part is coming through this is just the fucking worst. Teeth fucking suck!

On my trip to St. Louis yesterday, I drove past a car that had two people engaging in sexual intercourse in the backseat. Why 10 AM on a Thursday? In a sedan sized hatchback? During construction traffic? I wasn’t the only one passing them on the highway, so clearly they had no shame.

I've never played or had any interest in Dark Souls games, but I picked up Elden Ring Nightreign and I can't remember the last game I played where I lost so much sleep. The game has been incredibly fun. Favorites to play are #guardian and #recluse, so tank and magic pew pew. #eldenring #nightreign

I finally graduated university in May. Feels like I've been in school all my life (despite taking a break for a few years). I've been applying every day for jobs that utilize my degree. Ideally would like to get a job in a blue state. Tired of red state BS.

I saw an internship in Chicago that I wanted to apply for… but had to spruce up my resume first. The listing went down after a week so it’s a shame it took me so long. Bright side, I applied to other internships today. Not as good, but progress is progress.

I sent a message to a childhood friend that I haven’t talked to in like 15 years but he hasn’t posted since 2017 and the rest of his family hasn’t posted since the pandemic began so I’m not really sure how else to contact him if he’s inactive on socials.
