Israel has rapidly accelerated its destruction of Rafah in April and May. It's hard to understand the magnitude of this, even when spending time analyzing recent satellite imagery. From me, Samuel Granados, Aaron Boxerman, and @rileymellen.bsky.social

These journalists want me to read their books on the health struggles of Joe Biden while they pointedly ignore the ongoing mental deterioration of Donald Trump because they only fear the latter's retribution.

I met with the PM’s Canada-US Council today, here are some thoughts:

-🇨🇦 leaders & our government are (almost) all on the same page: Country First

-Their willingness to share intel, feedback & their networks is deeply comforting

-We have a strong plan & the right priorities

🇨🇦 Good Canadian economic news today:

✅ Wages have now surpassed inflation for 21 months in a row; that’s something tangible and it’s a big deal

✅ 1.4 million more people are working today than before the pandemic

✅ Inflation came in at 2%, marking 10 months in target range

I will never understand how a billionaire, the richest man on Earth, spent millions to buy an election for ANOTHER billionaire, and told us that his policies would cause all of us non-billionaires “temporary hardship...”

...and the public didn't tell BOTH OF THEM to fuck off.

This cannot be stated enough. Many provinces have been taking federal health care transfers and not spending all of it on health care (and spending much of it on provincial tax cuts), then blaming the federal government for underfunding.

Researchers say Twitter changed its algorithm to promote Elon Musk and Republican posts leading up to the election.
