Yeah, so... I ended up not writing anything this year. And I kept wondering why throughout, cause it wasn’t like I lacked time or energy. I spent three months ACTIVELY not writing anything for this event. And then I realized that I simply don’t want to have anything to do with this show anymore.

Because they promised to lower the taxes (who the FUCK wants their country to have a health care system like the one in the US?!).

All this talk about Farscape makes me really angry about the modern system where shows are 12 episodes long at best and all "relevant plot". Some of Farscape's best episodes are fillers. Crackers Don’t Matter is legendary for how great (and hilarious) the writing is in a story with such low stakes.
Never watched Farscape. Now watching the pilot with @mzspress.bsky.social. Playful, sincere entertainment with vivid characters. Incredible that there was once a media ecosystem that could finance a weekly creative sandbox of such prodigious invention: 22 episodes a season, 88 in four years!
