So I’m getting into my truck at the grocery store and a voice yells “Hey! Young lady!”

I am 48 so I did not turn, but then I see wild waving out a truck window. Old man straight off Duck Dynasty, full camo, beard to his sternum. He says “Your bumper sticker! Read books, punch Nazis?”

every author in the class action, please file the claim.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.

This is disgusting and disrespectful and just goes to show how corrupt the nation is. They already listen to calls and interrupt them, they hang up if you accidentally press a button on the call, sometimes calls don't come through... and now charging more?
I’ve said this before, but a huge function of our carceral system is resource extraction from exploited communities, and that includes the fees, commissary, and essentials people send to their loved ones, not to mention the time, attention, energy, etc.
The Federal Communications Commission has voted to roll back limits on how much companies can charge incarcerated people and their families for phone and video calls ohiocapitaljournal.com/2025/11/13/r...

Our Stories Still Matter
The world is going crazy and it feels like everything that makes us human (art, music, self-expression) is being burned at the stake or cast aside as we watch. We get it and yet, we here at the Circle believe that this is all the more reason to keep creating, keep reading, keep imagining. We don't look at it as escapism or a loss of hope...we see it as a way to remind us of who we are, human.
