When you go in the studio to check on your pits and they're the perfect degree of leather hard that they pop right off the bats and handles without leaving finger prints

Whenever I hear @hcjustin.com and Apollo say they're getting big donut in Mario Party, I think of the pizza sized donut my local donut shop sells and I giggle and kick my feet

Survived and thrived in the kiln. I'll now be spending the rest of my life getting everything glazed

Do any of my new ceramics friends have tips on how to heal up your centering hand? I'm trying to find new positions to hold my hands in but since losing weight I've lost my cushioning :(

Husband: don't go too crazy in the studio, it's already 10:30 at night

Me (in the midst of me wedding 300 lbs of clay to prep for a day of throwing all day tomorrow in just a bra and my yoga pants and clay everywhere): ...we are far beyond crazy and in the land of mania, my dude

Ramping up production for my upcoming shows this spring and summer. First up: bee cups! Little ceramic flowers to catch water to help hydrate our pollinator friends in our flower pots and garden beds. Each and every one is pinched, carved and sculpted by hand.

Friendly reminder to my potter friends: Always time how long your firings are taking! Shut my glaze firing off after 10 hours and sitter still hadn't gone off when it normally takes 7-8 when it's really cold.

Genuine potter question- how do you keep yourself from hoarding unnecessary crap in the studio? I feel like I'm constantly finding myself saying, why the heck do I even have this random piece of junk in here? WHY is my brain on rat software???

The amount of despair I feel with my kiln being broken has me reeling. Truly don't know what you appreciate until it's gone!
