I would also say, as someone who has been running webcomics since 2015, that you need to be comfortable with NOT making your best art with comics. Comics are not meant to be drawn with your 100% talent given to each panel. The panel is enough when it conveys what you want it to convey.

after writing and drawing the third skill of making comics is weathering the slog, and ultimately finishing it, and this is the hardest and most important part lmao. and needs to be practiced just as hard as the other two. and you’ll get better at the other two by practicing the third
