I realized I haven’t posted in a couple months with any game updates…
I finished both Final Fantasy VI and Tales of Zestiria. I started Link’s Awakening last week. I own the Switch version but I decided to give the GameBoy Color version a try. It makes me remember I am bad at video games lol

I really should have went back to Tales of Zestiria after I finished FFV, but I’ve been on such a FF kick that I jumped right into FFVI. It starts out REALLY tonally different from the other FF games I’ve played

I finished FFV last week. It was a lot of fun! I was playing the delisted Steam version so I got to try out the Bonus Dungeon. The Sealed Temple is no joke, those superbosses are crazy. However, I have a newfound respect for the Chemist class, I relied on it HEAVILY in the superbosses

Even after getting Rose it still only says 1P and 2P. But I can still set more than two characters to manual. Tempted to just plug in four controllers and see if it works, but do I want to put in that effort? Eh…
I have a party of four, but only the 1P and 2P icons are on the party screen still. Unsure if it’s because Alisha can’t link or some other reason. Not that it matters for this specific playthrough, since I’m only playing by myself, but hopefully i’ll figure it out in the future
Tales of Zestiria doesn’t seem particularly three-player friendly. I’m not very far in the game yet but I’m getting the feeling that with linking the humans and seraphs and armatization, the game is best enjoyed with two players maximum

Okay I feel as if once you get your bearings, it’s not that bad. I am just easily overwhelmed by open-world games. But this map seems pretty small compared to so many other open maps, so it feels manageable, which I appreciate. I feel like I can actually enjoy the game now

Okay I feel as if once you get your bearings, it’s not that bad. I am just easily overwhelmed by open-world games. But this map seems pretty small compared to so many other open maps, so it feels manageable, which I appreciate. I feel like I can actually enjoy the game now

I love that I have Lailah in my party for a whole minute and determine “well, I know who my partner is going to main when we play together.” I’m not 100% sure on play style yet, I am going simply off of vibes, and she fits the vibe perfectly

I started Tales of Zestiria the other day in hopes that I am secretly a wizard with the power of manifesting a Tales remaster every time I play a Tales game. So if a Tales remaster is announced while I’m playing this game, it will be confirmed that I am a wizard.

The reason a new Tales remaster hasn’t been announced yet is solely because I’m not actively playing a Tales game. When I was guiding my partners through Symphonia, its remaster was announced. When I was playing Graces, a remaster was announced. So I need to play a Tales game, don’t I?

So I figured out why I always scored so low in NiGHTS into Dreams…
Apparently once you deposit the 20 blue spheres, you’re *not* supposed to finish the phase as fast as possible. You have to stick around because that’s when the major scoring happens. So now I understand the game better

It took me a while, but I finally beat the Oblivion Shivering Isles DLC with all of the main and side quests. Total combined playtime: 165 hours. I liked the Shivering Isles story a lot, I thought it was surprisingly fun! But also glad to finally be done with Oblivion, I’ve played too long

It took me a while, but I finally beat the Oblivion Shivering Isles DLC with all of the main and side quests. Total combined playtime: 165 hours. I liked the Shivering Isles story a lot, I thought it was surprisingly fun! But also glad to finally be done with Oblivion, I’ve played too long

Started playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure a few days ago. It is not the kind of game I normally go for, I don’t normally play life simulation/cozy games. Nothing wrong with them, they just don’t speak to me personally. But this game caught my attention and I’m having a lot of fun! It’s so cute!

Started playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure a few days ago. It is not the kind of game I normally go for, I don’t normally play life simulation/cozy games. Nothing wrong with them, they just don’t speak to me personally. But this game caught my attention and I’m having a lot of fun! It’s so cute!
So, minus the Shivering Isles DLC, I have finished Oblivion. Just beat the main story, the last couple parts were definitely buggy, but I had fun! I played the game a lot when I was younger but never actually beat the main story, so it was neat to find out where the story actually leads

The worst part about trying to complete every quest in Oblivion is having to do the Dark Brotherhood questline. Not because it’s a bad questline, but because I just… feel bad for all the crimes I’m committing. I don’t want to commit crimes, I want to help people
