33 out of 100 isn’t too bad, right? A few of these are also in my backlog, like Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear, Persona, Mana, Devil May Cry, and Shenmue. I’ve also watched my partner play GTA plenty of times but I haven’t played it myself so that probably doesn’t count

I don’t know anything about Arcane but after watching episode two I have a favorite character. They really did a great job on her design!

I think Pascal is a great character, but out of all the Tales games I’ve played, she’s the only one I’ve never once been able to get a good handle on their play style. Maybe because enemies tend to prioritize targeting Player 1, but also her range is tricky for me to handle

Tales of Phantasia’s PS1 version was very fun! Definitely recommend over the GBA version. Maybe one day the PSP version will be translated too

When I first started playing Tales of Graces f, I didn’t really have much of an opinion on Hubert. He wasn’t bad, but I didn’t have much to say about him. But as the game progressed he became one of my favorite characters. Very unintentionally amusing, and surprisingly fun to play as!

Speaking of Dawn of the New World, I really enjoy Alice and Decus’ story. Alice lives only for hate. Decus lives only for Alice. They’re silly at first, but I grew to appreciate them a lot as villains by the end. Obviously terrible people, but I understand their motivations

Zelos from Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite (if not number 1 favorite) characters in Tales. He’s a person I would probably hate if I knew him in real life, but he has so much more depth than one would expect. Plus I think he’s pretty to look at

I can’t talk about Tales of Vesperia without bringing up my best girl: Patty! She’s so chaotic and fun to play as, especially later in the game. I know her addition in DE doesn’t add much to the main plot, but I still think they integrated her well

Next time I play Tales of Vesperia, I think I want to try learning how to play Karol more. I feel like he’s one of the few characters that goes through substantial character development throughout the game. I used to dislike him, but over time I’ve grown to appreciate his character
