Today's a very opportune time for Amani lore lol, apparently they added an additional Zul'Aman lore tablet to the Midnight Lore Hunter achievement.

Also Kol’anji is 100% coming back in for the Amani story in 12.1, they wouldn’t leave the body of a necromancer tribe’s chieftain so cleanly preserved and recovered for nothing.

If you told me a year ago that Zul'Aman would end up the standout zone of Midnight, I would not have believed you.
I came into the Amani story in Midnight so worried about how they might mishandle trolls again, but they're handled with more care than anything else in the xpac.

Legacy of the Amani is *such* a good short story, I don't even have words to say how well it starts the Amani story in Midnight.
Zul'jarra is easily my favorite character of the expansion so far, I truly never thought that would happen in the elf xpac lol

God, Zul'jarra and Zul'jan is easily the best sibling relationship they've written into WoW.
As a younger brother to an older sister, there's a certain unique relationship there that is so perfectly captured with these two, especially with their different personalities.

I'm pleasantly surprised Blizzard had the guts to actually refer to Quel'thalas as colonizers in this short story.
It's obviously from a troll perspective, but I figured they would tip-toe around the verbiage to make it more 'both sides'.

I know it's probably a child, but I'm choosing to believe Xal'atath was actually an alien Gnome because it's funnier.

After doing these weekly stories, I think the Zur'ashar painters have become a big redeeming quality of the Haranir story in Harandar.
It's such a unique cultural aspect, and I'm definitely going to have my character be one... once I figure out what class best fits a painter lol

Nearing the end of the Haranir weeklies, this one about the rutaani/fungarian conflict in Harandar.
I haven't touched any of their side quests yet, so this will be my first proper exposure to this story.

Something I really love about Xal'atath is how she manipulates people by just... telling them the truth.
She's never really *lying* to anyone about the events that have happened, but she only gives out very specific information to frame herself as a necessary evil.

All I will say about the current discourse is that you can trace almost every complaint about WoW’s current narrative and tone back to BfA and the backlash to its awful main story.
Faction tension, Horde presence, character morality, it’s all in response to the damage BfA did.

Something I actually really love about Domina's design is her total lack of cybernetics, all of her technology is external.
It's such a good contrast to Symmetra's prosthetic arm, and how Domina doesn't have to sacrifice anything to profit from her company's wealth.

Sombra being so terrified at Doomfist’s defeat is honestly the most interesting part of the new Overwatch cinematic for me.
Vendetta is 100% playing into the Conspiracy’s hands with her power plays, and I’m so interested in seeing what Sombra does when Talon stops being a convenient ally.
