Everton have been subjected to 13 minutes of VAR reviews in the last two home games. VAR is being used to manipulate results and is draining the enjoyment out of the game

Had a couple of pints in town before the game yesterday, The Bridewell was quality as usual, caught the bus from Liverpool One at 14:15, 11 minutes to the bus stop on Gt Howard st, much easier than walking from Sandhills or Moorfields. Only issue was 4 carriage trains to and from Southport.

Everton lack leadership on the pitch, look at Granit Xhaka's influence on an inexperienced team last night. I didn't like Phil Neville, but he was a leader. They need someone similar.

This game and VAR is killing any enthusiasm I had for football- fuck Pawson, fuck VAR, fuck the Premier league- I couldn't even telly clap in the hotel bar, I would have been banned. Retreated to my apartment and the local telly.
