Back when #lightnovels only got unofficial fan translations, I tried to get into them multiple times but I always gave up eventually. Only when I started reading professional human translations did the medium really click for me. Any publisher trying to peddle MTL to me will not be getting my money

Media update: I’ve been absolutely struggling to watch Frieren (I’m finding it incredibly dull) and I recently finished reading Happy Saint Sheol (it’s peak)

I made another PICO-8 game! This one is a short little puzzle-ish game where you put on a fireworks show. Choose between 3 types of procedurally-generated background, and light up the night sky! If your show is good, you'll make it to the grand finale. #pico8

I should have also mentioned PICO-8 in this post. I made it with PICO-8! Frankly this was one of the most rewarding development experiences for me. PICO-8 is such a joy, I'm already conspiring to do more. Anyway play Star Captain 32767 and/or hire me cuz I need a job

So life in Japan didn’t work out; I’ve been struggling a lot in terms of my mental health & adjusting. 🥲 My flight back home to Canada is tomorrow. I’ll still find a way to study Japanese though!
