I really admire this poem by Dane Holt. He takes that particular ‘flatness’ of grief and finds a playfulness within it… which is so hard! How on earth do you play with flatness? Like this:

I think we need narratives that speak to emotional connections. The right use fear which overrides happiness.. that’s a problem. But we need some powerful stories that speak to the people we seem to have lost
? This reads to me like “if we want to win, we must become the enemy”.
