Skeleton shrimp: superior snackers

This amphipod in the family Caprellidae, has feather-like setae line several of their 18 appendages for collecting food — amphipod translates to “feet on all sides” in Greek.

A man falls into the ocean. A reddit post reads, "Set my goldfish free into the ocean. After a lot of time deliberating I decided that being cooped up as no good for him. Took a ride this morning to the beach to set him free. I don't know why I waited so long but no should have to live cooped up like that, even if I cared for him the best I could. A reply reads, "Your fish is going to die." A boy through several photos lives in the shadow of his father, blood splatters a wall as he drives his fist into another, before gaining praise by said Father. A reddit post reads, "Why the absolute hell did you think that was a good idea? A goldifhs can't survive in the ocean let alone salt water. What was wrong with the tank you had it already in?" A reply reads from the OP, "He was supposed to be the only one." From the photo of praise, blood drains and floods into the same child now an adult deep in the blood. The box slowly crumbles as the man drowns in the water. Another reply to the reddit post. "Even if the saltwater hadn't instantly killed it, you've basically thrown it into an enviornment it can never succeed in. It's been hand fed and cared for its whole life and would just wash along the shore. Are you out of your mind?" A reddit post on r/Aquarium from the man who posted the original goldfish post. "Bowl goldfish seems unhappy with aquarium. Title. Originally was keeping him in a bowl but switched to an aquarium thinking he'd be just fine, but obviously still unhappy. He waits a long time to eat, he lashes at the smallest things, and most of the time won't leave from hiding. The man surrounded by water and small shapes of goldfish looks down to the ground, hands extended. A reply to the original post. "Water change. Goldfish are usually really messy and can bring lots of gunk with them." A reply to the reply from OP. "He's clean enough" with several down votes. Shoes wait along a closed door, the room is dark. A reply to the orighinal post. "Make more room, even in the largest of aquariums goldfish will get agitated if they can't explore or find somewhere comfortable." OP replies, "He doesn't want to come out." to more downvotes. A person in a hoodie stands along an open doorway, hands behind their back as they look through it. A sun sets behind them. A reply to OP's original post. "Was it with other goldfish? It could be lonely." OP responds, "One came along. They're doing just fine." A man stands wet, washed and dreary as he looks up at a clouded sky. The waves recede along his body. A reddit post from someone simply titled "502" on r/LifeAdvice. "What happens if you do something you regret? What do you do? When you can't take it hback and weren't made for this life and the life you were is gone? You've done horrible things all for the purpose of somehting that will never come to be and never should have been? What if you have to live with so much so horrible it makes you never want to walk forward again?" And a single reply. You'll still have to try.

The researcher is embraced by the vampiric subject they study, fangs bared as they hold a scalpel in self defense just in case. The subject is labeled with the researcher's own thoughts of him: "Wingspan estimates between 8-12 feet. He tries to look scary even when he can't hold his own." "Excessive Brainfog without food. He has a way with words when he has them." "He inches closer with every day....do my feelings promise my data?" Meanwhile, the researcher is labeled similarly with his own thoughts of them: My hand feels at home with you. I feel my heart when you touch my chest. You have seen me at my worst. a tall lizard-like creature with a horned cow-like skull top of their head and 'rib' like segments wrapping around the torso leading to tail. they have fur on their arms and legs and neck. beside them is a younger version of them that is smaller and on all fours with a rounder skull and tiny horns They are beige with brown fur and dark yellow teeth, the top part of the skull is dark brown and so are the segmentations. a lanky fluffy mammalian looking creature with two sets of ears, one leaning back like horns and and another set flopped down, 4 arms with one set on a segmented middle part of their body, and a fluffy tail. They have a sad clown look to them and are two toned. Above them is a younger version with smaller floppier ears, big sad eyes, and curled like a worm on the string. a sleek looking bug creature with long furry leaf-like arms with thin dark claw fingers at the ends, a bug-like tail with a stinger, and small wings coming out of their back. They have chest fur and a face with a cat-shaped w mouth that leads into more of a reptilian snout. They have wide hips and stick-thin pointed legs. Below them is a younger version that is toddler-like and chubby with a bean shaped body. A tall bipedal dog-lizard-bug-dragon-thing stands, holding the first cow creature baby in one arm like a sack of flour. The bug creature baby is in a chest carrier strapped to them.
