I don’t love that today’s weather was more like it should’ve been the beginning of March and that one of my anemones released a flower in January. But I sure do love seeing my hellebores beginning to bloom! I adore hellebores 🖤💀 They’re giving me the gardening itch.

In my evening ponderings it dawned on me that one of the reasons #animism always felt so deeply right for me was because of the major role that reciprocity & right relations play in this worldview. I’m painfully allergic to dynamics where one side always asks for more but never fairly reciprocates.
