My friend wants to build either a gas or wood fired kiln for his wife. Does anyone know a good resource for materials and which type do you think would be best? Pros and cons?
I’m intermediate at best with pottery but know next to nothing about kilns.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.
