Winning in the NFL is really fucking difficult, and finding a QB you win because of is even harder. Celebrate while you can.
Have seen folks bothered that Bears fans are excited that the team doesn't look like a pile of shit for the first time this decade and that the quarterback doesn't look like the worst player to ever play the position for the first time in the history of the franchise.

Grow up! Leave us alone!

Commanders ought to just plan on being in the coaching hunt this off-season. They likely won't move on from Quinn, but having been through this too much as a Bears fan, this is going nowhere
Dan Quinn said he's taking over as DC.

I have to say too, I'm not really sure how Dart didn't get evaluated after the fumble, that dude was knocked out on the turf and the spotter should have pulled him

Just looked at the Giants coaching staff and they have 2 Ferentz nepo babies on staff and a bunch of other nobodies. Just an abysmal staff. Mike Kafka is truly their only option as interim because there is literally no experience on that staff
November 10, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Yeah that tracks. All I could think after that game yesterday was how similar that looked to a Matt Eberflus managed game and you never want to have that comparison.
BREAKING: The Giants are firing head coach Brian Daboll after Sunday’s loss to the Bears, per sources.

Daboll, who won Coach of the Year in 2022, finishes his New York tenure with a 20-40-1 record in 3+ seasons.

It's so incredibly funny to me that one of the very specific pieces of criticism thrown at Caleb Williams in that hit piece article was him wanting the cadence to be "turbo set" and the last coaching staff not liking it, while he continues to use it with this new staff who seemingly don't care.

Oh fuck off

Has anyone seen any evaluation of long term performance to xCOMP in the NFL? I can't figure out whether it's something that matters or whether it's like BABIP and something that normalizes or is hard to outperform/underperform on a season to season basis

Brian Daboll has the 18th worst winning percentage all time as a head coach with a .336 just behind Romeo Crennel
November 10, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Yeah he just completely lost confidence in Russel Wilson to be able to convert, but also this is how football was played 10-12 years ago (in the before Mahomes times) but it's simply not how the NFL game is played today. Just shows a head coach woefully behind or scared either way isn't good.
The Bears beat the Giants, 24-20, a second straight miracle comeback win to keep their postseason dreams alive.

The team should send a thank you card to Daboll for deciding to kick the field goal.

The Giants’ bizarre field goal decision should cost Brian Daboll his job
The Giants coach consistently finds a way to lose winnable games.

So Jaxson Dart has now had 4 instances of being evaluated for a concussion and 1 confirmed across 6 starts. That doesn't seem sustainable, Daboll trying to Tua this kid to save his job.

Finally showed a replay and Payne punch a guy in the helmet
It's a good thing fox doesn't have any cameras on this game to show the replays of the guy who got hurt or why Daron Payne got ejected, just sat there and showed nothing for 6 minutes

Brother there has to be a better thing to call it than that
Bears left tackle Theo Benedet on Caleb Williams in crunch time: "He’s like a vet. I was joking with him. We call it C-Willy time because he’s just cool as ever in the fourth quarter. Something just in him really rises to that occasion."

Checking in on this
Kyler is NOT a “clear NFL starter.” He’s already 28 too, so let’s stop talking about some mythical ceiling. And very clearly, Brisset gives them a better chance to win football games. Kyler Will be traded before the start of next year.

I was one of the people that really didn't get what Seattle was doing in the off-season, and boy I was fucking wrong.

Pretty interesting that Lions fans spent all off-season telling people Ben Johnson wasn't that good and John Morton designed the offense with Dan Campbell only for Campbell to have to take over play calling after 8 games again.
HC Dan Campbell appears to have taken over Lions' offensive play-calling, per Mike Garafolo.

While that shitshow ending against the Browns last week was tough, you see teams overcome 2 score deficits in the 4th quarter all the time now, Bears did it today, Texans came way back in the 4th today, winning in the NFL is tough.
