Another great time at the cinema thanks to @edgarwright.bsky.social. Me and my wife spent a rare day off together watching #TheRunningMan and absolutely loved it. Thanks man 👏

Terence Stamp: as beautiful as he was formidable. Hard to think of many other actors who had such presence, such gravitas, such authority. Eyes that could kill on sight. Tell them he's coming. Tell them he's fucking coming!

Just listened to episode 1 of Button Boys @pierrenovellie.bsky.social Great mix of gaming tastes among you and really funny. Looking forward to more.

Cannot wait to watch this. Been a fan for years and I’m ready for the first family to have a cinematic moment worthy of them.

Finished season 2 of #Andor. Simply superb, completed gripped. Rogue One tonight, I suspect is going to hit a little different this time around.

A little behind on my @empiremagazine.bsky.social reading, but throughly enjoyed @kylemacneill.bsky.social’s piece on film set caterers. One of those facets of filmmaking that you know has to be there, but have never really given much thought to.

Finally watched Thunderbolts* this evening. Haven’t enjoyed a Marvel film that much in ages. Fun knockabout dialogue and a surprisingly moving ending for a blockbuster film of that sort.

On that note, don’t ask me if I’ve watched Twin Peaks. You’ll just upset yourself.

I might be the latest I’ve ever been to the party, but Baby Reindeer really is rather excellent.

Massive respect to everyone taking part in and helping organise Ten Tors this weekend. A mammoth task on every level.

Went to watch #sinners this afternoon. Takes some interesting choices and provides a really entertaining story. Very much enjoyed it.

This! Not to mention the very annoying trend of chucking another ad in between the end of the trailers and start of the film. When supporting cinemas is more important than ever, the pre film ad ordeal is very off putting.

Seriously, don't read this one. I only put it out there to make it seem like my time wasn't completely wasted. If I only put the stuff out I like, I'd never put anything out at all.
