Day 2 of voiced my opinion on Bluesky: toxicity is just as rife here as it is on X. The left just can’t bear to hear a counter argument.

Discussion is the day: sex work should be illegal. Aside from the danger of trafficking and exploitation for woman, it is a key stage on the downward spiral of addiction for men. Sex is the carrot for men to make something of themselves. You commercialise it at society’s risk. #letstalk

So I joined Bluesky being told it is a safe community based on kindness and respect. I guess the subtext is ‘kind if you think like us. If not, then fuck you’.

Presumably the fish creature is a biologically separate entity, while the trans person is an identifiable sex that has chosen to ignore his or her biology.

Freedom of speech is not just another principle, it is the mechanism by which we keep our psyches and our societies organized and we have to be unbelievably careful about infringing upon that because we are infringing upon the process by which we keep chaos and order balanced.

How does one know their opinion is correct if they haven't pitted it against a rival opinion at the height of its case? We need to stop strawmanning, and start talking.

While Trump is a non-desirable in my opinion, he is the inevitable snapback response to a left that has lurched to its excesses, without taking the right with it. Return the left to its reasonable centre ground, and you won't compel others to flee to populace figures. #LetsTalk
