Sharing an uplifting video, which reminds us of the wonder and beauty of synchronicity.

Being present in the imperfect Now allows us to explore and grow, within wonder, when the Universe smiles. ☺️

Welcome these wonders joyfully, when they arrive.

Today, I'm continuing the work to get my space organized. I have my art supplies in labeled tubs, on my shelving unit.

One of my housemates just bought a large TV, so he's gifting me his old one.

So, I'm rearranging furniture and clearing the top of my wide dresser. ☺️

Deep gratitude.

I spent the day re-arranging all my furniture and moving boxes. I'm getting my space better organized, so my art space isn't crowded out.

I love this! Very inspiring.

I've had this medium, liquid watercolors, on my Art Lust list on Amazon for awhile. I may treat myself to a set for Christmas.

Sharing the beginning of a fall-themed painting, playing with blocks of color.

My skills in using washi tape, and my wet-on-wet technique are getting sharper. Yay! 🥳

Just finished this up today. It's been awhile since I did a mandala, and this was quite engrossing.

This is done in pan watercolors by Artistro, with the background done with Windsor & Newton's Iridescent medium, plus some Pewter and Permanent Rose (tube) watercolors by Windsor & Newton.

I've been away from BlueSky lately, because [life].

I've been ramping up my creative work, both artwork and writing. Currently planning a mandala painting.

Below is a recent painting... (Kinda hard to see the nuance of the metallics in a still pic.)

Good morning.

Sharing a lovely bit of classical music.

Max Richter beautifully recomposed Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and this wonderful live performance captures the nuanced joy of it.

Sharing a bit of beauty, captured in situ, as I walked through town this morning.

I respect James Talarico and how he's campaigning. I hope Texas voters have the wisdom to elect him.

His words in this YouTube short are infused with authentic humanity and integrity.

Sharing a bit of beauty from my walk along the waterfront yesterday.

(Had posted yesterday here, and swore this pic was attached, but nope. 🙄😏)

Trying this again, somewhat less exhausted, and in much less pain. That and caffeine should ensure success. 🥳

This work by MIT is amazing! Human trials are still needed, and it will take time before the "glue gun for bones" is available to surgeons not involved in a study, but this is VERY promising science.

I remember the *long* recovery when my wrist was shattered at age 11.

A wonderful example of resilience, in the face of devastating loss.

As a senior female artist who *also* lost ALL my art AND art supplies, I find this deeply moving and inspiring.

Limited funds slow the rebuilding of my creative toolbox, but each month I add a bit more.

This 🎯 truth below is important to remember.

When we heal, we can develop better tools for emotional regulation.

I did that work over a couple decades, and as a result I have better tools now — mindfulness, deep meditation skills, radical acceptance, et al.

A worthwhile journey.
It's not our fault that for years we used the only emotional regulation "tools" we knew, including dissociation. We couldn't use tools we weren't taught or modeled. We weren't "choosing;" we were running the only patterns we had available.

Trauma responses aren't "choices."

Democratic elected officials, here's some unsolicited advice.

People are looking for leadership. Right now. This moment.

Someone, anyone, take the konch and forcefully respond to JD Vance and Stephen Miller's promise to declare war against America.

Speak up now. Press conference today.

Oh, sweet baby Jeezus... 🫣

Idiocy and cruelty are a very toxic combination.

We see a lot of that combo in this regime, but this story literally left me slack-jawed for a moment, loudly saying, "He did WHAT?"

The stupid, it BURNS.

Those poor animals and people. 😞
