Your Funnels can be more accurate now.

1️⃣ Define exact versions of the goals to track, by adding custom properties to your goals.

Eg., Track “Purchase (Growth-yearly)” or “Purchase (Business-yearly)”, instead of just “Purchase”

2️⃣ Make funnels with those exact goals

3️⃣ Analyze visitor journeys

A new time range is coming to your dashboards. 👀

Hint: it includes parts of today and yesterday

📣Now you can define your goals with more context & make them as specific as you want.

Just attach your custom properties (our version of custom dimensions) with their values to your goals directly in the UI.

Such goals will help you track exactly what you want, & make your funnels more precise too

"I have gone from having to battle with GA4 to get anything usable out of it, to feeling that I have a complete view of our website and what is happening." 😍

Plausible Analytics has completed 7 full years! 🎉

Here's some stuff we did in year seven:

✅ Added 2.3K subscribers, stayed profitable.
✅ Added SSO, simpler setup for common measurements, scroll depth tracking, etc., making adoption easier.
✅ Got our own Wikipedia page & a feature in Wired.

A more elaborate answer to the question: Why we say no to investors?

👉 To stay loyal to our purpose and principles, not a board of directors

Our simple purpose is to give you easy + privacy-first analytics to help you measure your website performance and that ends there.

Privacy policies earlier used to read like forced confessions.

Privacy policies now read like "we are proud of our analytics provider"

Most people hide analytics. Many of our subscribers love to highlight it instead, not because they have to, but because they want to. We’re doing something right💜

Changed the design of the reports for the first time in years! And now they're more elegant and less cluttered.

This is part of our ongoing efforts to incorporate feedback from people who use Plausible every day, without ending up overwhelming the dashboard.

We hope you like it. 💜

At Plausible, many of us do 4-day workweeks whenever we want to – no questions asked.

This gives us more space for deep, meaningful work while keeping our work-life balance healthy.

We still make sure the product runs smoothly, support requests are always covered, & our subscribers can rely on us!

You can now ask us for your raw event-level data exports (Enterprise only).

This is ideal for data warehousing, internal analytics, compliance reporting, or other advanced use cases.

We’ll work with you to agree on...

📢 Now you can share just a portion of your stats with anyone on the web (like your freelance writers, affiliates, investors, etc.) using a shared link.

✅ Just create a new segment & switch on "Limit to segment" while creating a new shared link.

✅ Copy & share your private, secure link with anyone.

Another useful update for our WordPress plugin users,

👉 Now you can see which pages visitors were on when they used your site search.

This helps you understand which pages naturally lead visitors to search, whether to find specific content or locate products.

Proud and grateful to be able to support the Erlang Ecosystem Foundation and seeing our logo up there!

Open-source has shaped Plausible from day one. We rely on it, we learn from it and we are glad to do our small bit to give back to open source wherever we can. 🫶

📣WordPress users, now you can track the views on different variations of your pages!

Eg., If your page is served in 2 languages like "URL?lang=en" & "URL?lang=de", you'll be able to see which version got how many views.

Just switch on Query parameters in the plugin settings & add the ones to track
