Get fucked old man
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Coincidentally, I have some magic beans that the Senator may be interested in purchasing
Whoa -- Sen. Durbin went to up Leader Thune during the vote last night to tell him that on the shutdown vote and ACA promise that "8 of us are sticking our neck out that you're going to keep your word. I hope you will. He said 'I assure you I will,'" Durbin says just now

Resign
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

if you genuinely think Schumer and Democratic leadership opposed this & Republicans coincidentally got exactly the number of votes they needed to avoid a filibuster and none of those votes are from Democratic Senators who are up for reelection in the midterms next year, I have a bridge to sell you.

“No RIFs permitted” is just laughable, the administration is just going to do what they want anyway
Here's the full text of the deal:
- House CR extended to January 30, no RIFs permitted until then
- Minibus
- Ds get a filibusterable ACA vote in December

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

So a bunch of folks are going to try to do numbers by trying to convince you that this isn't over. It is over. The next vote in the Senate needs only a simple majority.

The House GOP will move to pass this thing because it's what Trump wants.

Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

Agree.

Sen Hassan, asked what will happen if Republicans don't carry out the deal, "Well, shame on them."

This is not what people were mobilizing for on Oct 18.

If so, it means that he cannot lead his caucus ably, cannot count votes, and must resign. Tonight.
I have revised my view. Schumer was not on board with this.

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

What a cunt
Hassan: With the government reopening shortly, Republicans now finally have to come to the table. Or make no mistake, Americans will remember who stood in the way.

I have been following national Congressional politics since I was a teenager in Obama I. This is how it always works. Regardless of their actual seat totals, The Democrats "somehow" always have just enough moderates (not too many or too little) that they concede to the GOP on every major issue.
