Social Security recipients will get a 2.8% bump in their 2026 benefits. And high earners now will see a bit more of their income subject to the Social Security payroll tax thanks to an increase next year to $184,500 in the wage base. open.substack.com/pub/dontmess...

PPS is answering the phones, but you have to call when it opens.
Some of the fax lines are still open (the lien department was early on), but I don't know if they are being monitored.
