FareFreeLondon group's first meeting with the Greater London Authority was "a positive start". They pressed for a commission to be set up, to consider the feasibility of free public transport in the city. Read their press release below
A delegation from Fare Free London group met Claire Hamilton, Head of Transport at the Greater London Authority (GLA) on 30th April, to seek “a commitment from the GLA to set up a commission about free public transport in London”. Our first meeting was a "positive start".
