When a federal judge adjudicates you as clinically insane, your world changes forever. In a yum-yuck sorta way, you know?

Helicopters over Rogers Park again.

The checkout guy at Aldi told me "to be careful out there." People know.

Reading Marxist scholar GA Cohen's "Self-Ownership Freedom and Equality", which addresses abundance and scarcity, and the role of natural endowments (beauty, intelligence) and how to distribute that, if possible. The idea is to reconcile distribution and egalitarianism. It's good.

What if you're an ICE, but you lose your job for shirking or whatever, the only place you can apply for a job is at a private prison, 100 miles away, savings running out, apply for SNAP, Medicaid, you have kids maybe not getting as much nutrition as they need, the winter coat has a hole in it ...

I can't tell if Jack's pointing out homophobia or really does think this is hilarious.

I do know that you'll find more homophobia in the replies than at your local MAGA meeting, which is why I'm quote-posting it.
Whoever is making these hilarious memes should be ashamed of themselves.

Just stop it.

"Here, have another corporate Democrat, he he."
QUESTION: Who is your political inspiration?

SCHLOSBERG: “In the modern era, I love Nancy Pelosi… the most important female political figure in American history… the backbone of the Democratic Party… the reason we have the Affordable Care Act… she deserves a lot of credit for the example she set.”

Now that I've had more time to digest #Frankenstein, its utter badness and stupidity are even more annoying than they were while watching it. It's one of those films where, when the monster tugs a very large, loaded boat out of an impossible ice floe, you go, how? You tell me and we'll both know.

Blather about #Communism being the great utopian goal of any civilized people, when we all know it's totalitarianism for schnooks. The state, which is supposed to be the people, is involved in the totality of society, and then the state just dies out of unlimited abundance - stupid.

I saw del Toro's mangled abortion, "Frankenstein," which looks like a tech demo for the worst video game ever made. The main special effect is Oscar Isaac's wig. It's got that ugly digital washed out look and, as you would imagine, is a love letter to CGI. It's also boring. Avoid.

So more than half the country is being held hostage by what the EC belched up last November.

How *dare* Kansas or wherever dictate whether I, my family and friends, live or die.

These are the only lives we have.

So trump barely makes it down his truncated airplane stairs, shuffles to his limo and falls into it, basically, and his head lols back.

Sending him overseas is looking a lot like intentionally wearing him out so someone else can take over, quick.

I support putting Trump's age, 79, gratuitously into any headline about him.
