1) Double down on the demands.
2) Make clear there will be no additional funding.
If the GOP wants to shut down DHS, that's on them.

Could make arguments either way on whether this is a direct violation of Article I, Sect. 10, Clause 3. Not that I oppose it. Time for states to start exercising authority in weird ways, regardless of whether they have such authority.

It still amazes me that Europe believes trump has any character, integrity, honesty, or humanity. trump is the sum of two drives, one is self-aggrandizment, the other is self-enrichment. Nothing else, or no one else, ever crosses his mind.
