The people I know who are just reveling in the dismantling of our democracy absolutely scare me. What others have seen as necessary spending for the social safety net, healthcare, national security, and for supporting our allies against authoritarianism and fascism is to them wasteful spending.

Why do we have to endure all this touchy feely crap for a football game? Is it to make folks feel better about forsaking the Constitution and the least among us?

Today I will honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr., and the work he did during his life. I will try to ignore the travesty going on in DC, and the betrayal of his beneficiaries in joining the ideological corruption he fought against.

Tomorrow after he swears an oath of office to protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic, our orange leader will immediately act like a dictator and sign over 200 executive orders. None will be good for America, all will do a small part to destroy it.
