Upon the revelation of how expensive my amiibo collecting addi- I mean hobby is starting to become moving forward, it appears that I’m not going to be able to justify continuing my impulse spending off of job money alone

Well, to make a long story short- the bag is secured!
There was barely any line at my local Target. Walked in, bought the console, walked out. If I knew it was going to be this easy I wouldn’t have fought the crashing retailer websites during the pre-order window… 😬😅

Has anyone else noticed that Nintendo Switch system boxes have gotten smaller with each generation despite the console itself increasing in size
Switch OLED’s boxes were smaller than the launch models and base Switch boxes followed suit since. Now with Switch 2 they’re even smaller lol

Here's a quick mockup of what I would do to improve the box art. I actually like the red bar, there was just too much unused negative space. Adjusted the logo for better balance and cohesion.
Also watermarked just in case this gets in the hands of misinformed game journalists.
