I explicitly turned off ads and set 18+ only on the latest video... then just now I get an eMail from YouTube saying, "BTW: We've disabled monetization for your video. Remember, it's up to you to set your video settings appropriately." and I'm just like I FREAKING DID...??? o_O

Pros: Raw gameplay is mostly solid, more like Prime 2 than 1 or 3, really good graphics and solid 60 FPS on Switch 1.
Cons: Worst ending of any Metroid game ever, yes, even worse than Other M. Also, collecting green energy suuuuuuuuucks... >_<

"L-Codes" are the method by which the game decides what order to run logic in for all objects in the game world with logic linked between each other. :B

Since doing the major Win 11 update, apps I had forced not to power throttle through the powercfg command line utility were once again being throttled when in the background, so I looked more into how powercfg /POWERTHROTTLE actually works...-

After only six hours of gameplay I've already beaten the next game for ADG, despite never playing the full game until now... :o
*shrugs* I mean, it started getting stupid-hard for the wrong reasons near the end so I guess it doesn't overstay its welcome. :P

Hint #1: It's an NES game.
Hint #2: Yes, the game has crashed.
Hint #3: This is easily repeatable and I technically did not do anything out of the ordinary, other than using a built-in cheat to play the game in an unintended way.

The Chaplet Halikan LA-30 is an interesting 80s laptop on its own but this one busting into 1000 pieces & being restored by PolyMatt takes it to another level. Let's dive into using the PC itself, its odd quirks, and its small but fascinating spot in history!

And now that more people are discovering Godot Engine, they ain't goin' back! ;)
📈 @godotengine.org is having a good run!
#Godot is now firmly established as the #2 engine in game jams (correlated by #GMTKJam data), rapidly closing the gap with #Unity.

Because it's all volumetrics in Blender, I need to use the Cycles renderer. Cycles works on a premise of "denoising" an image, so generally renders with it look very grainy without additional post-denoising following.-

...annnnnd... it completely blew out the lighting. XD
At least now I know I can work in smaller lighting units in Blender, but it means I have to readjust all of my colours. :P

I WAS about 12 hours into my Metroid Prime 4 run, when all of a sudden the game world disappeared short of the sky and my framerate dropped to 10 SPF. (Yes, TEN SECONDS PER FRAME.)
...this gets worse...-
