WTF? Harvard stands up to him so he throws a tantrum and does this. What's next? Secret police in every university???

WTF?!? Elon Musk reposted this on X before quietly deleting it:

“Stalin, Mao, and Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Their public sector employees did.”

I guess I'd better start moving forward with using BlueSky and Cara from now on. Half my art friends are abandoning Facebook after the Meta announcement. Ugh. I feel spread too thin.

Acrylic/mixed media paintings from many years ago. Various photographers gave me permission to use their costume photos for reference material. Anyone who wants to know where the source photos are from can ask, I think I have all the links stored.

Going to post some old art to help flesh this place out a little. More new stuff to come once completed/out of NDA.

I'm back - I'd lost my log in details, archived somewhere in a mail account. Seems everyone is getting pretty excited about joining so I'd better add more art asap!

Quick snap of a Christmas present for my brother in law. Pencil (Faber Castell) on French paper. Lovely frame made by a woman in Ontario (via Etsy: AnneCraftedCo).

4 vector portraits for a university research awards event. Client had a very specific style I had to use, based off an earlier portrait they'd had done. Why vector? Because the sizes for printing varied from huuuge to tiny. Yay, Illustrator & Wacom.

Rather random job for a tech company, paintings of some tech entrepreneurs they were working with. Well, until one of them got dragged off to court in the US, but that's another story...

Done with Photoshop, refs from public domain paintings and licenses they had. Ended up doing 5 in all.

Made some govt logos for a tiny island territory in the Caribbean (why is that so difficult to spell?). They ended up going with the two with the speech bubble, one of them for print, the other for on-screen uses.

Illustrations (digital ink pen style, done in Photoshop) for a book on RW Emerson. Ended up with 12 in all, one of each month of the year.

Gus the cockapoo, my sister in law's dog. Not bigger sook was ever born. Not sure he knows he's a dog.

Acrylics and watercolour pencil on heavy French paper.

Cat painting for Seth (present for his wife). Her bitey cat, Hester. Personally I think Hester is rather wonderful and the bitey-ness is a feature, not a bug.

Acrylic and watercolour pencil on paper. A5-ish.

Dave's dog, painting for his wife. Acrylics and watercolour pencils (Faber Castell) on heavy French paper. A4-ish.

Adding some arty content to hold space until I get my butt into gear. Also... rather a lot of NDAs these days. Woe.

Chauncey the beagle, done for a family member. Acrylic on heavy art paper.
