Ah well, "Your Party" was a nice idea while it lasted. If you can't keep it together with half-a-dozen MPs with nothing much at stake then there's no point in trying to be anything bigger. What a monumental fuck up.

Wes Streeting going to bat for a violent transphobe and implying the law should be changed to make it legal to incite violence against women is shocking but barely surprising. #transwomenarewomen #transrightsarehumanrights

Looking at the horror in Gaza my thoughts turn to the Berlin airlift. Similar population to Gaza, sustained entirely by air with 1940s technology. Does anyone seriously believe that Britain, France, Spain, Ireland between them couldn't defy Israel's blockade and feed Gaza if they chose to?

I'm fine with this happening when someone says something absolutely horrific. I'm sure, however, that the frozen fruit brigade will be all over this blatant example of 'cancel culture'. What's that? *crickets*

It's weird how all the people up in arms about people getting prison sentences for calling for people to be burned alive last summer are utterly silent about the people arrested for saying we shouldn't call people terrorists for trying to stop genocide. We'll call them "Two Tier Tommehs", shall we?

I'm amazed Iran hasn't declared the existence of tunnels under the hospital it attacked. That's the get-out-war-crimes-free card for this, isn't it? The Israeli bleating over their own actions coming back on them is certainly something. "Chutzpah" is the word that springs to mind.

The author of this book is autistic and for that reason mainstream media didn't want to know (read the thread, it's infuriating) and the book has undersold as a result. My copy hasn't arrived yet so I can't speak to the execution but it's a damned good idea. It would be nice if it went a bit viral.
