I just signed a contract to start work in 2 weeks 🎉🎉🎉
Its been almost 8 months since I was made redundant, there's been 59 jobs applications, 36 interviews, 3 different offers and *finally* I get to do Brand work on games again 💖
And I'm moving to Brighton!
AND it's my Birthday this week!!!

I just had a delightful interview with some bloody lovely people and now I get to go and walk the dog with the warm and fuzzies having chatted with awesome people about creative fun stuff 💖

Why does Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, a film I put on as a JOKE, have an absolutely stacked cast??
Also, I would unironically LOVE to play an RDR2 dlc where you hunt down Vampire Bandits. It's the only logical follow-up to Undead Nightmare.

The only reason I was able to get a job at a studio was because it was during COVID and relocation wasn't mandatory.
When you don't have the safety net of asking parents for money it makes you risk averse. You are acutely aware of what resource scarcity is - because you probably lived it

The UK games industry has had a huge class problem since its inception. Private school kids with generational wealth were first through the door and overwhelmingly hired people from similar backgrounds. www.bbc.com/news/article...

The visuals, story and MUSIC was stunning.
The best advice I saw was kick the difficult down low so you can get through the combat as quick as possible and just enjoy the story and world 💖
