finally read @lookhappy.bsky.social 's first Haru book last night, all in one go!!!!

cannot recommend it highly enough, such beautiful art, and a very Tolkien/Ghibli inspired tale. obsessed with Haru & their sibling Goose

Made another prototype to explore how you can create a voxel with hand-tracking. When you push the main voxel, it generates “wireframe” voxels along its path.

Tools: XCode + RealityKit + SwiftUI
Device: Apple Vision Pro

finally finished Big Hops - absolutely delightful platformer that doesn't outstay its welcome. forgot that kickstarter backers were in the credits and then way very excited to see my name!

Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

p5 + @play.date + flocking to try to recreate starling murmurations

create your sunset using the crank + dpad, and then play with your starlings

crank to change their direction, spawn more & pull them towards you

boring ux pet peeve:

any portfolio sites that has a custom cursor with an insane amount of lerp/smoothing 😤😤😤😤😤 huge red flag 🚩 such a usability killer, just for a little extra aesthetic

I will miss my previous bright yellow + pink site, which felt a bit more raw + funky
