It takes a special kind of stupid to not realize that the proposed $2K tariff payment is simply another wash, rinse, repeat lie from the POTUS. He already said this months ago when he wanted some way to deflect from the negative outcomes of both his personal and professional decisions.

Every time I hear one of Donald Trump's cabinet members or Republican politicians say "...we'll follow the data", I can't help but visualize DT counting his fingers and toes.

If Democrat politicians, influencers and talking heads think they can just move on back to the agenda their constituents were supporting, they are mistaken - you've betrayed us, risked the midterms, and just allowed millions to suffer an unprecedented shutdown for NOTHING. Replace Schumer now.

Well, those negotiations weren't well covered by the media or shared by Dem leadership. I didn't realize that it was a group of moderates and that party leadership had no role in those discussions - is that accurate interpretation?

Turns out this was a Democrat Party shutdown because it achieved nothing for the American people other than the longest shutdown in US history. Massive error that can only be pinned on lousy leadership and inexcusable votes. Replace ML and primary the Dems who passed it.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

Every Democrat who voted for advancing this needs to know they will get nothing from the Republicans for this and each of them should be primaried. Schumer should step down as ML. Really, really disappointed.

This is a lie. All 31 Moms for Liberty candidates in contested races lost their 2025 elections. The only "wins" were in uncontested races. Apparently, being hypocritical, book-banning scolds isn't so popular.

It's the same old story - no term limits, no restrictions on stock trading, no campaign finance reform, etc., etc., etc. It's not in their self-interest to act on any of these issues - and we don't get to vote on any of it. Voting for candidates who say they support these changes hasn't worked.
