Midseason NHL standings are the worst because everyone has played a different number of games so I look at a team and see their doing well but they’re actually frauds who’ve played 3 more games than everyone else.

Maybe I’m just built different but if my team had a guy get their helmet knocked off by a player in an effort to get them off of a teammate, I would just think, how rude they did that to MY TEAM and move on because it is objectively a funny and whimsical solution and I think pests are good.

Thrilled to see Rodrigo Ābols make the team! It wasn’t make or break for the Flyers that he was on there but he improved over the summer and earned it during camp and I love to see him being rewarded for his effort.

Flyers are going to be counting down most of the days before the opening as we get though Bobby Brink and then the last four defensemen. Honestly they’re lucky half of the lower numbers are retired so they get a few days off.
