This #VeteransDay holds a special significance for me. It’s my first one without my dad — a Vietnam Veteran who, like many, came home carrying the invisible wounds of war. He battled cancer three times because he fixed planes spraying Agent Orange. He passed away earlier this year.

It’s not easy to admit you got it wrong. I appreciate the earnest apology and correction from KHTS Radio. We are in a time when misinformation can so easily spread. Instead of looking the other way or deflecting, KHTS took the honorable step to make sure they got it right for our community.
