Today in 1968, astronaut and lunar module pilot Bill Anders took this photograph as Apollo 8 orbited the Moon. “Oh my God. Look at that picture over there! There’s the Earth comin’ up. Wow, is that pretty!” (Anders’ original photograph was in black-and-white. NASA later remastered it into color.)

Il fut le directeur inoubliable du Concertgebouw d'Amsterdam et du Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
