I’m in some kinda redneck heavy groups for emergency response volunteering and the other day some dude posted how he almost shot what he thought was an intruder but it was a kid ding-dong ditching and his takeaway was “parents need to warn their kids not to do pranks” not “I shouldn’t have a gun”

I’ll say it again. What makes this platform different is that it’s moderated. And, The Terms of Service are enforced. Bluesky is not like Twitter

The problem is you assume they want to "engage and have reals discussions on real issues." They don't. When confronted with facts, data, science, actual laws, and the like, they resort to spewing lies, disinformation and hate.
