Experimenting with some widefield H-alpha. Here's some previews of how the first test night turned out. Strong gradients with all the LP here. Samyang 14mm f/2.4 XP at f/3.5 on ASI294MM, ZWO filters.

Quick test before the dew took over, monochrome broadband (about 2 hours total) of M13 from a pretty wide fov, MiniCat51 with ASI2600MM

First light with the miniCAM8M (IMX585 sensor), paired with the FMA180 Pro (f/4.5) for a compact mono imaging setup. Used a small cheap spectrometer to compare (just for fun) the included filters (XiMei) to a set of ZWO narrowbands. To me they look to be slightly better? #astronomy #astrophotography

Tonight's AP image is that of our nearest galactic neighbor, Andromeda. When processing this I worked to preserve the delicate outer halo of M31. The quality of this data allowed me to preserve the detail and show it off to you in all its majesty. #astrophotography

Good evening ladies, gentlemen and dolphins! Tonight's AP comes again from the archives of @picazo.bortle.org and processing done again by me. NGC7000, the North America nebula. Nearly 40 hours of integration. Give it a shot and share!

Another absolutely insane dataset from @picazo.bortle.org This time of the Iris nebula. A dusty part of space captured in with 21 hrs of broadband from a remote observatory. Processed by yours truly. Data available for processing below:

Taking the full moon as an opportunity to collect some data on other targets. Might as well collect SII and OIII on this also?

IC405 & IC410 - 48 x 900s (12hr) H-alpha

Almost 60 hours on the Rosette Nebula (SH2-275) across SHO filters (wip)

Oiii is looking particularly interesting here, especially the presence of SNR G205.5+0.5

Third channel, stack of 30 frames x 900s each, SII on the Heart Nebula from last night. SII in this region is quite rewarding.
