Sometimes I see artists do little tutorial sketches for how to properly draw folds in clothes and stuff. I'd love to see one for how to faithfully reproduce the way Trump's soft, doughy neck is pulled taught and gathered at the knot of his tie.
Trump is not too pleased with the photo they used of him in TIME Magazine

Cycling home from work I passed a field of cows and the young ones watched me and I said "hey!" to them like you might to a dog and they stopped chewing to think about what I'd said and I guess that isn't really anything at all but I'm glad I wasn't in a car.

I'm getting some absolutely stellar customer service from @galibiervelo.bsky.social at the moment. Their kit is some of the best performing I've used, and easily the best value. What a cool company.

My wife actually suggested to ME that we watch the new Tour de France: Unchained season! Then a few minutes in the monkeys paw curls as she insists we keep it on dubbed...

At midnight, Palestine Action will be proscribed under the Terrorism Act.

Their real “crime”? Exposing the UK’s role in arming Israel’s genocide.

This is a dark day for our democracy.

Criminalising non-violent resistance won’t silence the truth.

We are all Palestine Action 🇵🇸

Journalist speaking to a Trump supporter who is becoming concerned about the economy.

"You voted for Trump?"
"I did... I did..."
"And what do you think now? Do you still support him?"
"Well I'm not a quitter..."

Fuck sake dude. Change your mind. What is this attitude?

Enjoying #MHWilds but still not crash-free. Probably averaging a crash every two hours or so. Super annoying mid-hunt 😡

Heard on the news this morning that some guy killed his daughter by withholding her insulin, and he was acquitted of murder (got manslaughter instead) because he "believed god would save her". What the fuck. Where does that argument end?

"How the fuck do I turn off the AI assistant" is a phrase that is coming to define my existence. I'll be saying this every hour or so, every day, for the rest of my life.

There's this set of 4-way traffic lights on my commute. Their default is all lights on red until they detect traffic. Unfortunately, they use an induction loop. On my bike at 06:00am, they don't detect me. I either have to wait several minutes until a driver arrives for my direction, or go on red.

Just tried TrainingPeaks Virtual as it's free at the moment. Found it to be... complete garbage. UI is awful on phone. It stopped changing thing resistance on my trainer part way through (could be my trainer), and it won't sync data in either direction with other apps. Account deleted after one ride

My Garmin is dead 😔
Was working totally fine previous ride, and now simply won't turn on.
2 years out if it seems rubbish, and would ordinarily seek a different brand now... But the thought of yet another sign up and another app... I guess that's me, a mug, stuck in the ecosystem like they wanted.

I guess I do think that people should feel some form of shame or embarrassment for choosing to drive something that takes up more of our public space and has greater destructive power. If their own conscience doesn't do that for them, imposing mild rejection towards them seems like leadership?
Bravo Cardiff. Absolutely the right thing to do. Local parking reforms have a big role to play in reducing the number of large cars on our roads with all the benefits this brings - for safety, climate, air quality, space in our crowded public realm and, as mentioned here, road maintenance

Maybe the article is just cursory here, but if you want to find out if B is more effective than A, then doing a trial with groups recieving A and A+B respectively seems odd? Too much risk to those involved in removing access to the frontline charities I guess?
