Every time Nazis try to use Tolkien to justify white supremacy, I like to float this 1941 letter in which Tolkien called Hitler a "ruddy little ignoramus" and accused him of "ruining, perverting, misapplying, and making for ever accursed" the spirit of the cultures upon which he based his works.

It would have to go down as one of the most evil updates ever if, in Minecraft, crouching no longer protected you from falling off the edge of whatever you're standing on.

Rydiri came about out of a desire to try to do a "commoner" - not having a player class, the way all characters in DragonRealms would start (and quite a few continued for some time) - in ESO. In ESO, you must choose a class, but I did not have to purchase any class skills. So I didn't. (1/2)

Did the Black Gem Foundry last night with @badgerfrank.bsky.social, the hubs, and Ruru.
Good heavens, that second main boss, I think? Took several attempts, with a few skill changes thrown in as well. Think my healing setup is better for it, but man, that was rough until we got the right approach.
