Counterpoint to the AHA Committee: it is NOT OUR JOB TO TEACH AI literacy. It is our job to teach students history, critical thinking; how to interrogate and analyse sources, primary and secondary; how to write and weave historical narratives; how to communicate history to the public and more.

We are deeply disappointed that the Data Bill will not include the necessary provisions to keep creators' works safe from being used without their knowledge or permission by AI companies, despite clear and unified calls from across the creative industries. (1/3)

As a British citizen by descent, I cannot automatically pass down my nationality to my child if they are born overseas. Unlike for naturalised citizens there is no way for me to apply for ‘normal’ citizenship, ever.
