In the midst of all of the madness, I enjoyed something I have been waiting a lifetime to see: a live performance of a good chunk of the B-Side of Abbey Road. When I was young, I imagined singing "Golden Slumbers" to my future children, and I did indeed.

2024 has been gutting: the cherry on the trash sundae of this challenging decade. I miss my parents, my cat, and my lack of dystopia. On to solving the problem of how to lose weight, improve my knee and hip function, support my family, get a PhD, and preserve human rights. One democracy, please!
