There needs to be a book called “What to Expect When Getting a PhD”. There’s nothing that can prepare you for PhD life. Nothing!!!

This has been a particularly difficult week. To work so hard at overcoming challenges just to be told you can’t, your work is not valued, you are not good enough, your more doesn’t matter is inconceivable. 😔🥺😢💔

💯I recently loss my stepdad & sister 6wks apart. Losing my sister has been difficult it lead to Broken Heart Syndrome tinyurl.com/4apyfu3n, something I thought wasn't real. It is. Being sad/depressed for prolonged periods is not good. Check on those you know who are struggle
